The PL adapter works like a charm. The images below are from test  footage I shot with the Canon 12-165 Super 16 zoom lens (shown in the  top photos) and a Zeiss/Optex 10-100 Super 16 zoom with macro. In  16x9 mode, the lenses are perfect. I noticed a very minor bit of  distortion in the corners of the frame when shooting in 3:4 mode, but  it's outside of action safe. Feel free to share this info and the  images with anyone.  I'm taking this rig on location to shoot a  feature documentary starting next week. We're shooting the film  segments on the Aaton A-Minima, and the video segments on the XL-1,  but with your adapter, we're able to use the same glass on both  cameras and achieve a level of visual consistency that we wouldn't  otherwise have. I'll let you know how it works out.
